Final preparations for your GCSE exams (Summer 24)
Exam and Study Leave Rules and Arrangements
Study leave for GCSE exams begins after P8 on Friday 3 May.
Please note, there should be no shirt signing on this final day of lessons.
After the last exam on Wednesday 19 June, on Thursday 20 and
Friday 21 June, all Fifth Form boys will take part in a two-day community
partnership programme. Thursday will be book return day, and preparing for the
Bedford School Community Partnership Enrichment Day taking place on Friday.
On the Friday, boys will play a pivotal role as they step into leadership positions, guiding and mentoring over 100 primary school pupils throughout the day. The day will end with a BBQ on the Queens Lawn for Fifth Form boys to celebrate the end of examinations. It is during this celebration that boys have the opportunity for shirt signing.
Pupils should be aware that the final GCSE contingency day is Wednesday 26 June, together with the StartUp! programme and Silver DofE expedition.
